UndergroundBuzz Radio Premiers March 9th

After a longgggg time, UndergroundBuzz returns! and just in time for some GOOD quality music.

The 1st official show will be on March 9th, the time is still TBA. Look forward to hearing some LUPE! With his album being released on the 8th the 1st show is just in time for some quality Hip-Hop. Diggy “Past Presents Future”

Yesterday @Diggy_Simmons released his 3rd mixtape (not including Space Travel: Time Continuum) titled “Past Presents Future” host by DJ Premier on illroots.com. The new mixtape is 26minutes but contains some major rhymes delivered by the 15 year old. 

I was a little disappointed when I first started listening to the tape because of the DJ cuts on “Digg is Like..” but as the tape progress it flowed well. His choice to use Past Hip-Hop beats and his current standing as the future of Hip-Hop explains his choice of title (Past Presents Future). Beats such as “Electric Relaxation” by A Tribe Called Quest, “Paid in Full” by Erik B & Rakim, “Risin’ to the Top” by Keni Burke, “Shook Ones” by Mobb Deep, and “Shut ‘em Down” by Public Enemy were used on Diggy’s tape.

Bobby V performs at Toy Drive Charity Show.

Today the Mid Valley YMCA located in Van Nuys housed the LDT Investments Inc 1st Annual Home for the “Gift of Joy” event. Artists such as Yung Joc, Cali Swagg District, and….Bobby V performed for the cause. The event collected over 500 toys to give to kids in the Van Nuys community. Other celebs such as: Anthony Anderson, Tommy “Deebo” Lister, Demetrius Navaro aka “Hector” from Friday, Porscha Coleman and others also came out to support.

From my attendance I would say the event was a success. Being in the crowd Adults as well as Kids were all enjoying the dance performances as well as the music performance.

My friend Glenna and I had the pleasure of chilling with Bobby V and his managers backstage after his show set. Any who partially know me, know that I and a DEDICATED Bobby V supporter (B.V.R.F.), so it was an interesting night. I can truly say Bobby is one of the nicest singers I’ve ever met, and he is TOO funny. Make sure you make it a priority to see him perform one day. You’re in for an entertaining show with a true R&B Soul singer! I look forward to actually setting time away to sit down and interview Mr.BV soon.
